Sausage pastry made from cookies. Cookie sausage - a recipe like in childhood. Confectionery chocolate sausage with condensed milk

Home / Snacks

Do you remember your childhood? A trip to the sweets kiosk often ended with your hands unwrapping the foil and taking out a delicious, creamy sausage. Years have flown by, this dessert remains in the memory, and now you have the opportunity to cook it for your children. A simple recipe, delicious cake and a lot of positive impressions.

The dessert includes:

  • 300 grams of shortbread cookies;
  • 200 grams of butter;
  • 1 glass of sugar;
  • Approximately 40 grams of cocoa;
  • 5 tablespoons of milk or medium fat cream;
  • 1 cup walnuts.

Sausage cake is quite easy to prepare. This recipe does not require any special culinary skills, and this “sausage” is prepared quickly and without significant time investment. First, you will need to grind half of the shortbread cookies using a blender. The resulting powder is poured into a bowl. The rest of the cookies need to be broken into small pieces.

The cake has a strong nutty flavor. In order to embody this “childish” taste, walnuts must be chopped into medium-sized pieces. The recipe also includes the option of frying the nuts in a dry frying pan to add a sharper flavor to the dish. Cookies and nuts are mixed.

Cocoa is ground with sugar, milk/cream is added to the powder and the mass is thoroughly mixed. The resulting mixture is brought to a boil over low heat. During the cooking process, cocoa and milk are stirred.

The cake is quite soft, and to give it a more delicate taste, butter is added to the still warm mixture (it is best to cut it into cubes). The resulting chocolate mass is mixed until smooth.

Time for cookies. Grinded cookies with nuts are gradually added to the bowl with chocolate “cream”. You need to add it gradually so that the final mass does not turn out to be too thick or lumpy. The result should be a thick, gooey chocolate mixture.

The authentic recipe does not include chocolate, but to give it a sharper taste, you can add fifty grams of chocolate melted in a water bath or a few spoons of boiled condensed milk.

How is sausage made? Foil greased with butter is spread on the table, and part of the chocolate mass with cookies is laid out on it. The cake is wrapped, given the desired shape, and the sausage is ready! All that remains is to put it in the refrigerator until it hardens. The cake can be served whole or cut into pieces.

Chocolate sausage "Krakowska"

This recipe has a special appearance: the sausage resembles the real thing. Children love this dessert very much, and adults rarely refuse to treat themselves to such an unusual delicacy. It is also prepared on the basis of cookies, but both the composition and the final appearance The dishes are significantly different.

For preparation you will need:

  • 400 grams of shortbread cookies;
  • 200 grams of butter or margarine;
  • 1 glass of sugar;
  • 1 whole egg;
  • 3 tablespoons milk;
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder;
  • Any chopped nuts (about 100 grams).

It all starts with cookies. It must be chopped in any way (meat grinder, meat hammer, etc.). The crumbs are mixed with nuts. After this, one whole egg is thoroughly beaten and poured into cookies with nuts.

After this, margarine (butter) along with 3 tablespoons of milk and 3 tablespoons of cocoa are placed on the stove and brought to a boil. After the mass has cooled a little (!), it must be poured into the cookies and mixed thoroughly.

Cling film is spread on the table, on which the “dough” is laid out. We wrap it up. This is how a sausage is formed. After this, you can additionally wrap the dish in foil and put it in the freezer for several hours.

The recipe can be supplemented with pieces white chocolate, which will add fake “fat” to the sausage and make it even more realistic. If desired, you can also reduce the amount of sugar and replace it with boiled condensed milk. The presentation may also vary. By the way, this dessert is convenient to take with you. For example, you can wrap it for your child's school. Bon appetit!

And other confectionery products from Soviet times, we suggest adding another recipe from childhood to your culinary notebook. Chocolate sausage made from cookies does not require long baking; it is prepared very simply and quite quickly (if you do not take into account the time required for the dessert to harden).

To prepare sweet sausage, any nuts, dried fruits and other additives of your choice are suitable. You can also vary the portion of cocoa powder, resulting in either a light “ham” or a richly dark “smoked” sausage.

Ingredients:

  • shortbread cookies - 200-220 g;
  • cocoa powder - 3 tbsp. spoons;
  • butter - 100 g;
  • milk - 30 ml;
  • sugar - 5 tbsp. spoon;
  • walnuts or any other nuts - a handful.

Chocolate sausage made from cookies recipe with photo

  1. Grind approximately ½ of the shortbread cookies using a blender to the smallest possible crumbs. We break the remaining portion with our hands, preserving large fragments - these pieces of cookies will create a decorative pattern contrasting in color, which will give the finished dessert a visual resemblance to sausage.
  2. Place a stick of butter in a small ladle/saucepan, add sugar and, stirring, melt over low heat. There is no need to boil the mixture - as soon as the sugar grains are completely dissolved, turn off the heat.
  3. Pour cocoa powder into the hot oily liquid, thanks to which the dessert will turn dark and acquire the taste of chocolate.
  4. Next add milk room temperature. Mix vigorously until smooth.
  5. Pour the resulting chocolate-colored liquid mixture into the crushed cookies. Add walnuts, lightly chopped with a knife.
  6. Mix the mixture, thoroughly soaking the ingredients in the sweet chocolate liquid. Our task is to obtain a homogeneous dense “mush” with an even distribution of nuts and cookie fragments.
  7. Spread the mass on cling film. By tamping, we form a dense oblong block. Wrap the resulting chocolate cookie sausage in cling film and put it in the refrigerator. After 20-30 minutes, when the soft mass has already hardened slightly, we take out our almost finished dessert and roll it around the table several times, giving the chocolate bar a more “correct” round appearance.
  8. We return the sweet sausage from the cookies to the refrigerator shelf. It will take 5-6 hours for the chocolate mass to completely harden, but you can reduce this time by placing the product in freezer. Having cut the ready-made dessert into thin mugs, we serve our delicacy with aromatic tea/coffee.
  9. Chocolate sausage made from cookies is completely ready! The dessert must be stored in the refrigerator and taken out only before drinking tea, so that the hardened mass does not have time to thaw.

Bon appetit!
