Delicious manna in a frying pan. Step by step recipe

2. Add grated half of an apple to the filling coarse grater and raisins. Mix and the filling is ready.

3. We dilute the semolina with cold milk until it becomes a paste, and heat the rest of the milk.

4. Add salt and sugar to taste to the milk, pour in semolina with milk and cook, stirring vigorously, until thickened, about 5 minutes. Let the semolina porridge cool a little, but it must be hot, otherwise the semolina will be difficult to mold.

5. Sprinkle the table with flour, measure out the same amount of semolina porridge, roll it in flour.

6. Place the filling in the middle and pinch the edges, leaving the filling inside.

7. We shape the semolina and thus prepare everything immediately so that the semolina does not have time to cool.

8. Dip the semolina in a beaten egg, and then in semolina and place in a frying pan.

9. Fry for a couple of minutes on each side, you can turn it several times, achieving the desired crust.

10. Place the mannas on paper towels and you are ready to serve!

- this is a pie in which semolina is used instead of flour, which determines its specific texture (not at all like semolina porridge, if anyone doesn’t know).

Mannikas can be made and baked both in molds in the oven and even in a frying pan; this method is interesting, for example, for those who have only an electric stove in their country house or, in a country house, a Swedish stove with a cast-iron stove and removable circles.

We'll tell you how to cook manna in a frying pan; in fact, the recipe in terms of the ingredients is no different from the usual one, but you need a cast iron or aluminum frying pan, without any newfangled coatings, preferably without a handle or with a removable handle.

Exquisite chocolate manna in a frying pan

Ingredients:

  • semolina – about 250 g;
  • medium fat kefir - about 200 ml;
  • thick fatty sour cream – about 250 ml;
  • natural melted butter – about 30 g;
  • chicken eggs– 2-3 pcs.;
  • baking soda, quenched with vinegar or lemon juice - on the tip of a knife;
  • vanilla or cinnamon (but not both) – 1 pinch;
  • dry ground spices (saffron, cardamom);
  • cocoa powder – 2-3 tbsp. spoons;
  • granulated sugar – 2-3 tbsp. spoons;
  • dark rum or chocolate liqueur – 1-3 tbsp. spoons.

Preparation

Soak semolina in kefir with sour cream for 2 hours (mix thoroughly so that there are no lumps).

At the right time (when the semolina has swollen enough), first mix sugar with sugar in a separate container, then add eggs, spices, liqueur and beat well with a mixer. Add this mixture to the container with the semolina-milk mixture. Mix everything thoroughly. If you want, you can add ground nuts (50 grams) and/or steamed raisins (the same amount).

Lubricate melted butter frying pan and fill it with prepared dough. Cover the top of the pan with a lid and place it on the stove with medium-low heat (or medium heat with electrolyte).

Bake for 30-40 minutes. By this time, the surface of the manna should resemble jelly. We turn off the power supply, but do not remove it from the stove. If you are cooking on a Swedish stove, remove from heat, cover the hole with circles and move the pan to the edge of the stove. In 10-15 minutes the manna is ready.

Place the frying pan on a wet towel to make the semolina easier to separate. Remove by turning over onto a plate. You can cut it with a knife or a stretched thread, like hominy. Serve manna with sour cream or butter cream, with natural unsweetened yogurt, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, rooibos or fruit compote.

Sometimes you want to surprise your family and friends with something delicious for tea. And whatever, this something delicious was easy to prepare and didn’t take much time. There is a dish that can easily be combined with fruits, nuts, chocolate and spices.

Returning from work in the evening, preparing this dessert will take at most, about thirty minutes for a more complex recipe, and about eight for the simplest one. You can make a recipe for making manna at home yourself. The ability to correctly combine the main ingredients will be quite sufficient.

Mannik has been baked since about the eighteenth century. There were times when semolina was available to few. Only, I knew, I could afford such an expensive pleasure. The exact origin of semolina is unknown. The history of wheat grain, from which semolina is made, has taken so many roots that only stories about it remain. beneficial properties:

  • Cooking speed and satiety

Semolina consists of two-thirds starch and contains almost no fiber in its composition;

  • Dietary product;

But only if the product is prepared in water, without salt and oil. Energy value The grain is not that big. Total, 98 kcal per 100 grams. Those who claim that semolina is high in calories consider it correct to add animal and natural fats to the recipe. By mixing semolina with many ingredients, you get a satisfying, but hardly healthy dish.

  • Restoring proper functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.

Semolina cleanses the body by removing mucus and fat from the intestines. Thus, preventing the occurrence of diseases associated with digestion;

  • Ground wheat cereal contains a large amount of iron. Semolina is prescribed to people during the postoperative period. This is the only porridge that not only gives strength and satiety, but is also a kind of “sponge” for the intestines and stomach;

Semolina brings both benefits and harm. Small deficiencies can become the basis for the development of chronic diseases. About everything, in order:

  • Small amounts of vitamins and minerals.

For a growing organism, a certain set of useful elements is necessary. Therefore, this cereal can only benefit an adult;

  • Semolina “leaches” calcium from children’s bones.

Phosphorus, by binding calcium salts, prevents their entry into the blood;

  • Gluten contained in cereals has a negative feature that affects the development of allergies and stool disorders. Also, this protein is called gluten. Individual intolerance to gluten puts you at risk of developing celiac disease, a hereditary disease in which the intestinal mucosa becomes thinner and stops absorbing useful substances and nutrients.

Before you write out a healthy eating menu yourself, you should consult with a specialist. To avoid the consequences of “self-analysis,” a meeting with your doctor will only confirm or deny gluten tolerance.

But times go by, and this one delicious dessert conquers the boundaries of small and cozy home kitchens, and captivates cooks around the world. All you need to do is apply a little imagination, and the result will not be long in coming. Absolutely anyone can bake a pie. Especially if it seems that cooking is completely beyond your capabilities. Even a teenager can handle the dish. A huge variety of cooking methods, every time challenges the notorious “newbie”.

How to cook lush manna?

When you don’t have time to come up with ideas and the guests are already on their way, you can choose suitable recipe, on the Internet or in a cookbook. Let's look at some of them:

Mannik with cottage cheese

This is the simplest semolina pie. Fast and hearty breakfast, if you have a multicooker, of course. 🙂

Required Products:

  • two hundred grams of semolina;
  • 350 grams of cottage cheese;
  • three chicken eggs;
  • butter;
  • one hundred and fifty grams of sugar;
  • vanillin;
  • 100 milliliters sour cream 25%;
  • cinnamon.

For containers of two hundred milliliters

Let's get started:

  • Mix semolina, sugar and vanillin in a bowl;
  • Add the yolks to the bowl with the semolina and mix;
  • Add softer cottage cheese and richer sour cream to the resulting mixture. Stir until smooth;
  • Chicken whites need to be cooled a little, and then beaten until foam appears;
  • Mix egg whites and curd dough;
  • You should first grease the bottom of the pan in a slow cooker with butter;
  • Place the finished mixture in an even layer in the multicooker. You can add jam or condensed milk;

Bake in the “Baking” mode for about thirty minutes.

When serving, manna can be doused with topping or regular jam, and sprinkled with powdered sugar on top.

An example of dessert decoration, in the photo.

Also, such a pie is sometimes served as a cake. Soaking in cream and whipped cream.

Options for baking manna in the oven

Thanks to baking in the oven, the manna gets a blush on all sides. Delicate and light pie can be prepared in a variety of ways:

...with milk

Required Products:

  • About two hundred grams of semolina;
  • half a teaspoon of vanillin;
  • three eggs;
  • two glasses of milk (200 milliliters);
  • thirty milligrams of baking powder;
  • Two hundred grams of wheat flour.

Let's get started:

  • Break the eggs into a large bowl and grind them with sugar and vanilla;
  • Add milk and baking powder to the resulting “gruel” and mix again;
  • Mix with wheat flour and semolina;
  • Beat the dough and pour it into the mold.

Mannik is baked for thirty minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Instead of milk, you can cook with kefir. It's a matter of individual taste.

Vegetarian option or manna without eggs

Is it possible to cook airy sponge cake without a single egg?

Maybe! By the way, the pie seems to melt in your mouth. All thanks to the fact that it is prepared with kefir.

Required Products:

  • one hundred and fifty milliliters of kefir;
  • two hundred grams of flour;
  • one hundred and fifty grams of sugar;
  • soda;
  • salt;
  • 150 grams of butter;
  • fifty milligrams of cinnamon;
  • four hundred grams of semolina.

Let's get started:

  • First of all, the butter is heated, then it is mixed with kefir, sugar, cinnamon, and semolina;
  • For about thirty-five minutes, leave the cereal to swell;
  • After a while, add flour to the dough and mix.

Cook in the oven for thirty to thirty-five minutes, at a constant temperature of 180 degrees.

And even if some ingredients are missing, you can easily replace it and get an equally delicious dessert.

...in a frying pan

Nothing special changes in the recipe. Only, you need to better ensure that the dough does not burn, since it is baked on butter. The dough is kneaded with milk and sour cream. If desired, you can add boiled condensed milk or cocoa and bake like a “zebra”.

  • "Zebra" is the name of the pie "on a quick fix" Which contains cocoa.

Required Products:

  • three hundred and fifty grams of semolina;
  • two chicken eggs;
  • one hundred grams of butter;
  • cocoa, condensed milk - if desired;
  • two glasses of milk;
  • forty milligrams of vanillin;
  • two hundred grams of granulated sugar;

You can also add marmalade and chocolates. When frying the pie, the filling melts and spreads, mixing with the dough.

The dough, poured into a frying pan, can be baked in the oven at 180 degrees. To prepare such manna, in a frying pan, will take from half an hour to an hour of free time. It is necessary to ensure that the fire is small.

...preparing an unusual manna

Required Products:

  • orange and lemon;
  • a couple of eggs;
  • one hundred and fifty milliliters of water;
  • 50 grams of melted butter;
  • three hundred grams of fruit yogurt;
  • a teaspoon of soda;
  • about two hundred grams of semolina;
  • four tablespoons of sugar.

Let's get started:

  • You need to wash the lemon and orange. Peel them and squeeze out the juice. Leave half for syrup, which can be made from it, and the other half can be added to the dough;
  • In a separate bowl, beat eggs, sugar and butter;
  • In the same separate bowl, add zest of vitamin C carriers, semolina, salt, fruit yogurt, and juice. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

Bake for about half an hour. The temperature is about two hundred degrees.

Syrup:

Cook the remaining citrus juice with ginger and vanilla over low heat. Cook the ingredients for no more than twenty minutes. After which, to taste, add cinnamon in any form, honey and jam.

While the dish is still warm, pour hot syrup over it and leave for two to three minutes. The dough will be saturated with the sweet sauce and all that remains is to sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

Since semolina is poor in vitamins and beneficial elements, the pie should be decorated walnut, dried fruits, or fresh fruits.

  1. The shelf life of semolina varies from ten to fourteen months. To preserve the product longer, just lightly fry the semolina in a frying pan;
  2. Few people like it when lumps appear when cooking cereals. They have no benefit, and they don’t decorate the dish. To avoid this “headache”, adding semolina, you need to sprinkle it in a thin stream, gently stirring the mixture when combining the ingredients;
  3. To make a semolina dish successful, you need to take a certain amount of cereal. It will be enough to take enough so that you have time to pour it into the pan and immediately stir until the mixture thickens.

Taking care of our health is a task assigned to us by nature itself. Also, it was she who took care of the creation of “ambulance assistants”, right under our feet. Use them and, thanks to imagination and dexterity, improve their taste, or solve problems as they arise?! Everyone decides for themselves.

    Mannik is a beloved and very popular dessert by many, let's diversify it a little and prepare small manniks - portioned, in a frying pan, in a hurry, but this will not make them any less tasty...

Ingredients for manna:

  • milk - 200 ml;
  • semolina - 60 g;
  • chicken egg - 1 pc.;
  • sugar - 1 tbsp;
  • salt - 1/3 tsp;
  • breadcrumbs;
  • vegetable oil for frying;

Fried mannas

1. Pour the milk into a bowl and put it on the fire, add salt and sugar and add semolina in a thin stream, stirring constantly, no need to wait until the milk boils, add the semolina immediately, so there will be no lumps. Cook the semolina porridge, remembering to stir; the consistency of the porridge will be very thick. When the porridge is ready, let it cool thoroughly, that is, it should cool to such an extent that you can introduce eggs into it and they will not curl.

2. Beat the egg with a broom in a separate bowl, then pour it into the semolina porridge, knead until smooth.

3. Breadcrumbs pour into a plate, roll semolina into balls, roll in breadcrumbs and give them the shape of a round cutlet. Place the mannas on a hot frying pan with vegetable oil and fry on both sides until golden brown; there is no point in frying longer, since the mannas are made from ready-made cereals. Fried manna can be served with sour cream, jam, etc.

Bon appetit!

Manniki with cottage cheese and raisins

Step 1

To prepare manna we need semolina, milk, flour, homemade soft cottage cheese, eggs, raisins, sugar, vanilla sugar and sunflower oil.

Recipes homemade cottage cheese

Step 2

The first step is to pour boiling water over the raisins for 10-15 minutes, then rinse them and place them on a kitchen towel to dry.

How to quickly steam raisins

Step 3

Mash the cottage cheese well with a fork with sugar and vanilla sugar. I love sweet filling and I always taste the cottage cheese. I add a bag of vanilla sugar and 2 tablespoons of regular sugar.

Step 5

Add dried raisins to the cottage cheese and mix well again. The filling is ready.

Step 6

Now you should cook very thick semolina porridge. To do this, immediately measure out all the semolina (this is 12 heaped tablespoons), bring the milk to a boil over low heat and, with constant stirring, pour the semolina into the milk in a stream, add 1 pinch of salt and sugar to taste. Turn off the heat and stir the semolina well with a spoon. Then turn on the gas again and let the porridge gurgle a couple of times.

How to boil milk correctly

Step 7

Stir the porridge well again, check that there are no lumps and let it rest for 5 minutes. During this time, sift the flour into a deep bowl.

Step 8

Use a tablespoon to scoop up the porridge and throw it into the flour. You should immediately pour the porridge on all sides with your hands.

Step 9

Place the resulting lump of dough on a floured palm, press the dough with the other hand, patting it a little to shake off excess flour. Flatten the dough into a flat cake.

Step 10

Place 2 teaspoons of filling in the center of the resulting flatbread.

Step 11

Connect the flatbread with two palms and pinch the edges together like a dumpling.

Step 12

Trim the edges.

Step 13

And flatten the finished manna.

Step 14

The mannas should be sculpted all at once, since when the porridge cools down, it will be impossible to sculpt them. Sprinkle the board with flour and place the pies on it. In total I got 17 mannas.

Step 15

In a bowl, beat 2 eggs and 1 white remaining from the filling with a fork.

Step 16

Dip the manna into the egg so that it covers it completely and remove immediately. Excess liquid should drain.

Step 17

Place 2-3 pieces of manna on a plate so that as much of the liquid is drained as possible, otherwise they will burn. Then pour the drained liquid back into the bowl.

Step 18

Heat the oil in a frying pan and place the mannas in the pan. Fry on both sides.

Fried mannas in a frying pan - very simple and quick option dessert for tea party. Their fairly neutral taste allows them to be served with various sauces, fruits, berries, and jam. You can cook manna on any stovetop in a frying pan if you can’t use an oven.

Classic recipe

Mannik is a rather modest pie, which is better served with some additives or sauces to make it tastier and more interesting. Therefore, it is often prepared in the countryside, outside the city, where there may not be an oven, but there are fruits and berries with which it goes well.

The eggs are mixed with sugar and beaten. Grain is poured into them: gradually, little by little, with constant stirring, so that no clots appear. Then add milk, soda and mix the dough.

Grease the entire surface of the frying pan with butter that has been melted in advance. Place it on the stove, turned on at the lowest temperature setting. Pour the semolina mixture into a frying pan and cook covered for half an hour.

Then, with the stove turned off, leave for another 10-15 minutes. To remove the pie from the container, you need to carefully turn it over (this is done when the product has cooled down a little). You can use a spatula to make the process easier.

Small pancakes are formed from the mixture mixed with porridge and, after rolling them completely in semolina (for this, 3 tablespoons of raw cereal are poured onto a plate), they are placed in oil heated in a frying pan. The mannas are fried on each side until they turn golden brown.

To diversify the taste of the pie, you can add lemon zest, cocoa, poppy seeds, raisins, and dried fruits cut into pieces to the dough. Condensed milk, sour cream, jam, berries ground in a blender, jam, and various cooking sauces are used as additives to the finished dessert.

The temperature for preparing mannikas (both pie and small pie-shaped products) should not be high, otherwise they will not bake evenly.

Manniki is a universal dessert that is loved by adults and children. It goes well with any supplements and is easily digested, without leaving a feeling of heaviness or overeating.
