The recipe is very worthy, one of those that you want to do. Therefore, I quote, but I insert the words of the author. Let God judge.

I bring to your attention a very simple and easy to prepare apple pie. Ideal for those who are not friends with dough and pastries :-)))

We need:

130 g flour

180g semolina

200g of sugar (this is if the apples are sour, otherwise half of the sugar is 100g)

200g butter or margarine (steamed)


1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, adding 1 tsp to them. baking powder.


2. Divide into three equal parts.


3. Lubricate the mold with oil. Pour evenly distributing 1 part of the dry mixture.


4. Peel and grate the apples on a coarse grater. Also divided into 3 parts. Put one part on the dry mixture.


4. Alternating the dry mixture and apples, lay out all the layers in a mold.


5. The last layer is apples. Pour the melted butter evenly on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200C - 60 minutes. Note: Since all ovens are different, after 15-20 minutes, look in the oven and if you see that the top is burning, cover it with foil or wet baking paper. Remove 5 minutes before the end of baking.


You can make the last layer like this. Only in this case, the oil must be poured out before laying out the plates.


The result is a tasty piece of cake :-)


APPLE TATEN.

Apple tatin, also known as Tarte Tatin, was invented by two lovely old women named Tatin in the distant French province of Normandy many, many years ago. These two dandelions of God ran a tavern for local hard workers, who invariably dropped in for delicious homemade dinners. Grandmothers were famous for their traditional apple pies, until one day one of them made a fatal mistake, which changed the course of her calm, measured rural life forever.
One fine autumn day, in the midst of the apple harvest, one of the Tatin sisters, thinking about eternity, was putting apples into a pie pan. And just before putting the pan with the pie into the oven, she noticed with horror that she had forgotten to lay out the bottom of the dish with dough. Her sister was famous for her bad temper and heavy hand. Cautiously looking around, the old woman quickly covered all the pies with dough and pushed them into the far corner of the stove, away from sin - maybe it will blow over!
In half an hour the pies were ready - the dough had risen and browned. But what about apples? The inquisitive Mademoiselle Tatin turned one of the pies onto her plate. What a beauty! Apples have become amber in color, translucent, fragrant and tender. And crunchy puff pastry best emphasized their exquisite taste.

That is how, and nothing else, the old ladies of Tatin entered world history, leaving behind a delicious trace of the famous French apple pie.

I suggest that you plunge into culinary history and make a tatin pie according to an old French recipe.

7-8 sweet and sour hard apples
½ vanilla stick
100 g granulated sugar
50 g butter
300-350 g puff pastry

1. Lubricate the bottom of the pan liberally with oil (50 g) and sprinkle with sugar (100 g). Cut the vanilla lengthwise, using a small knife, remove the seeds, as shown in the photo. Spread the seeds on the bottom of the pan, put the vanilla pod in the same place.

2. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into 6 pieces. Put apples on the bottom of the pan, as shown in the photo. Apples need to be laid bottoms down - core up, very tightly to each other and almost vertically.

3. Roll out puff pastry 3 mm thick and cut a circle out of it. The circle should be several centimeters larger than the diameter of the pan in order to completely cover the apples.

4. Put the dough circle in the refrigerator for a few minutes, and then cover the apples with it and tuck the edges of the dough into the pan.

5.Make a neat hole in the dough in the middle of the circle, MANDATORY! Otherwise, the top part may fall off during baking.

6. Put the pan on the stove over high heat, for 10 minutes. Apples will give juice and dissolve sugar with butter. As soon as the juice thickens (this can be recognized by the number of bubbles on the sides of the pan - there will be much less of them), the pan should be put in the oven, heated to 200 C, for 20 - 25 minutes.
Don't forget to remove the handle from the pan!

7. In the oven, the dough will rise and the apples will caramelize. You need to lay foil under the pan in case apple juice leaks out.

8. Remove the finished taten from the oven and cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.

The most important moment! Put the dish upside down in the pan, and, supporting the bottom of the pan with a towel so as not to burn yourself, with a slight movement of your hand, turn the wonderful tatin apples up. It is better to press the pan and plate tightly against each other during this procedure, otherwise your work of culinary art will fall on the floor with apples down.

I was too lazy to beat the squirrels and yolks separately. What kind of lazy charlotte if you need to peel apples? Therefore, we do not peel the apples, just wash them well.

To make a lazy apple pie, we need:

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 apples (If possible, use different varieties for a richer taste. I have: "fushi", home garden sour and "honey").
  • 1 st. flour
  • 1 st. Sahara
  • 100 gr. sour cream
  • 0.5 members soda

We take a big bowl. We break 3 eggs + a glass of sugar. Beat well with a mixer at high speed for 1-2 minutes.

Add 100 gr of sour cream.

Mix flour with baking soda and sift together.

We cut the apples arbitrarily, as you like and add to the dough. I also sprinkled with cinnamon, I love the combination of cinnamon and apples. But if you do not like cinnamon, you can not add.

Mix everything well so that our pieces of apples are distributed over the dough. We spread it in a mold and put it in the oven at a temperature of 170 degrees.
