How to make "marble" eggs for Easter with your own hands? Marble eggs for Easter How marble eggs are dyed for Easter

home / Snacks

Marbled Easter eggs require all the same food coloring you use every year, plus another ingredient to create these intricate designs. The technique is simple to perform - even a child can handle it. Eggs dyed with organic dyes are absolutely safe for the health of both adults and children.

You will need:
  • white chicken eggs, hard-boiled;
  • water;
  • vegetable oil;
  • liquid food coloring in bright colors;
  • latex gloves;
  • glass or plastic containers;
  • a spoon;
  • paper towels.
Instruction: Wear gloves and an apron to protect your hands and clothing from staining. Take the required number of glass or plastic containers (according to the number of colors) and pour enough water into them so that it completely covers the egg.

Add 8-10 drops of liquid dye to each container of water (dyes can be mixed for unusual shades). Pour 1 tsp into each container. vegetable oil. Lightly stir the solution without trying to combine the oil with the water. It is enough to “draw” 1-2 full circles with a spoon.

Place a hot boiled egg in the dye and use a spoon to turn it from side to side several times. For high-quality staining, leave it for 30 minutes (in the case of dyes of dark shades, less time may be needed).

After this time, remove the egg from the liquid and pat it dry with a paper towel. Grate dyed eggs for shine a small amount vegetable oil.

Ingredients:
- chicken eggs (fresh, preferably brown),
- rock or sea salt - 1-2 tsp,
- onion peel
- white paper
- gauze,
- scissors,
- threads.

How to cook with a photo step by step

To begin with, we will do the preparatory work: we will need onion peel (thrifty housewives collect it ahead of time), as well as paper and scissors. Cut the paper and husk into small pieces of different sizes with scissors.

Next, we wash the chicken eggs with warm soapy water and, with wet hands, dip the wet egg in paper-husk crumbs.

We wrap it in a piece of gauze (preferably in two layers) and tie it into a knot. This is how we prepare all the eggs.

Next, dip them in salty cold water and cook for 10 minutes, marking the time from the moment the water boils.

We take out the eggs from the pan, open the gauze and rinse them in cold water.

Next, we prepare a solution of brilliant green in a separate bowl (it is better to take a half-liter jar) - pour water and pour in half a bubble of green.
And now the fun part: dip the eggs into this solution with a spoon for a couple of seconds.

And then immediately rinse in running water and grease with oil to give them shine. On the holiday table it will also look bright and, which you can also cook yourself.

Ready!

With my own hands in various techniques. Some of them are made for food, and others for admiring.

And when you know so many ways, you always want to do one thing, and another, and a third before the onset of the holiday ... But this is impossible! You need to choose something one, or two, well, a maximum of three options.

One of my favorite ways is to make marble paints. And this is no coincidence. When you see such beauty for the first time, you are simply speechless. And you can’t even understand how it happens?! Then, having found the recipe, you start to paint, and the turn comes to marvel at the beauty of all your family, relatives and friends.

And all if you figure it out, the method is quite simple. There is nothing complicated in it. In addition, a big plus is that you do not need to buy dyes in the store. For this, in any house there is always everything. Namely, nothing is needed at all: in one case, only onion peel, and in the other, also brilliant green.

Although there are of course alternative methods of staining. And we will try to consider all of them today.

Many of my girlfriends and friends, seeing marble krashenki on my table, invariably ask for the recipe. When they find out what's what, they are always surprised that everything is so simple. So I decided to write recipes today so that everyone can color like that. And to make it all clear, we also filmed a video.

Yes, we are new. Now we shoot many recipes on video. For your comfort. So read the recipes and watch the videos. And I will be glad if you subscribe to the channel.

We will need:

  • eggs - 6 pcs
  • brilliant green - 10 ml
  • onion peel
  • salt - 1 tbsp. a spoon
  • gauze, or capron
  • threads

And also prepare gloves so that during the cooking process you do not get your hands dirty. And also an old saucepan, in which we will paint.

Cooking:

1. Get the eggs out of the refrigerator in advance. They must cool down room temperature so that the shell does not burst from a sharp change in temperature during cooking.

For all methods, use the main product with a white shell. In this case, the drawing will turn out to be clearer and more pronounced.

2. Prepare onion skins. To get a richer color, it must be of a different color. Use the dry skins of yellow and red bulbs. And in yellow, try to pick up also different shades, up to dark brown.

Start preparing the husk ahead of time. When you peel an onion, just put it in a bag. So it will pick up a different color, and besides, it also dries well. And as a result, it will give an even more saturated color.

3. Now our task is to grind it as finely as possible. This usually takes a lot of time. There is one way that allows you to do this quite quickly.

Just put all the dry substance in a deep bowl and use the tips of scissors to cut it right in the bowl. Let me remind you that the smaller you cut, the richer the marble pattern will turn out. The desired size should ideally be 0.5 - 0.7 cm.

As you can see, we got a fine mixture of different colors, which is very good.

4. Cut gauze or nylon into squares in such a way as to put the workpiece in them and tie in a knot. We need them just by the number of the main ingredient.

If you take capron, then the color will be more even and uniform. If you use gauze, then in addition to the main pattern, a fine mesh from it will also be printed. But it will not be superfluous, and vice versa, it will give an additional pattern and pattern.

5. Moisten the egg in water. Then place in the husk and roll in it so that it tightly sticks around the shell.

6. Put it on cheesecloth. If in your opinion the husk was not enough, then you can sprinkle a little more on top.

7. Collect the ends of the gauze from above, rotating the bag to one side and forming a tourniquet. Pull it tight and tie with thread. You can simply wrap them around gauze in a few turns so that it does not unwind during cooking.

The husk should fit snugly against the shell so that there is absolutely no movement. Otherwise, the picture will be blurry.

8. Cut off the extra ends so that they do not take on the paint, and put our workpiece in the pan.

As for the saucepan. Take her old one so that it is not a pity. Zelenka gives a fairly persistent staining. Of course, you can wash it later, but not by all means. So it's better to be safe.

9. Do the same with the rest of the eggs. Today I will paint 6 pieces. You can paint at once and more. But if there are more than a dozen of them, then take two bottles of brilliant green, that is, 20 mg. And more onion skins. More water will be needed for this amount of dyes. So, from one bottle of brilliant green, the color will not turn out as bright as we would like.

10. Pour water at room temperature into a saucepan. Cold - do not pour. Be aware of temperature differences. And also add salt, it will protect the shell from cracking.

Pour enough water so that they only cover our workpieces. The less water, the brighter the color.

11. Put on fire, put on gloves and immediately pour out all the brilliant green. Set the heat to medium and bring the water to a boil. Then cook for 7-8 minutes. This time is quite enough for us to cook our product until ready, and also for the shell to acquire a marble color.

12. Drain the water, then put the pan under running water and wait until it brightens.

13. Now the most "dirty" work. Be sure to wear gloves for it. It is necessary to cut off the tied end of the gauze and remove the husk from the shell. Then rinse each krashenka again under running water and put on a plate to dry.

You always unfold each of them with bated breath. After all, everywhere there is a different intricate pattern, not like any other. And somewhere even some picture is drawn. In general, great! What to say.

14. When our dyes are dry, they must be rubbed with oil. So they will become even more beautiful. Shine, light up, become truly festive and beautiful.

At first, the oil will be visible on the shell, but over time, it will be absorbed and will no longer leave marks on your hands when you peel the shell.

Here is such a simple and at the same time beautiful way of coloring. Looking at the result, I want to say that "everything ingenious is simple."

Video on how to color eggs with brilliant green and husk

And here is the promised video. Everything is explained and shown in detail. The whole process resembles some kind of alchemical magic. As a result, we get as many as 6 marble "philosophical" eggs. Well, isn't that a miracle!

I must also say that the whole process is very exciting, it is truly creative. You don't notice how time flies.

That's the whole recipe.

And you can see that in the screensaver on the central egg, a figure of a horse was printed, similar to an ancient rock image or a petroglyph. We took this as a great sign. What do you think it might mean?

How to make marbled eggs - the easiest way

If we figured out the first recipe, then coloring the main Easter symbol in this way will be even easier and simpler. Essentially the recipe is the same. But the composition of the ingredients does not contain only greenery. Therefore, I will not paint it in detail, but only dwell on the most basic points.

The method involves staining with onion peel.

We will need:

  • onion peel
  • salt - 1 - 2 tbsp. spoons
  • gauze or capron
  • threads

Cooking:

1. Cut the onion peel into small pieces. Let me remind you that the most effective staining can be achieved when the dry onion shell has a variety of colors.

For an extra effect, you can add finely chopped paper to this mixture.

2. Eggs at room temperature "bath" in water and roll in prepared onion clothes.

3. Put them in this form on gauze cut into squares, or nylon. Then wind the ends into a bundle and tie tightly with a thread, or simply wrap it in a few circles so that nothing falls apart.

4. Put them in a saucepan, pour water at room temperature and pour in the remaining husk. And also do not forget to add salt so that the shell remains whole and unharmed.

5. Put on medium heat, and bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for 35-40 minutes.

6. Drain hot water and place contents under cold running water. Then release the marble dyes from gauze and husks, and rinse again.

7. Let the water drain and dry. Then grease with oil to further decorate our Easter treat.

Put on a plate and wait for the holiday.

Beautiful marble paints with their own hands

This is another way to get marble staining, but with a different pattern. We will use onion peel and rice for this.

We will need:

  • onion peel
  • salt 1 - 2 tbsp. spoons
  • capron or gauze
  • threads

Cooking:

1. Pour rice into a flat bowl. Depending on the shape of the rice you choose, such a pattern will turn out.

2. Dip eggs at room temperature in water and roll in rice. It should stick around the white shell with its grains.

3. Put the resulting workpiece on gauze or nylon, pre-cut into squares of the desired size. And, connecting the ends, roll them into a bundle very tightly, wrap or tie with threads.

4. Put all the blanks prepared in this way into the pan. Throw in the onion skins. It is not necessary to cut it.

Pour water at room temperature and put on medium heat. Oh, and don't forget to add salt. Thanks to her, the shell should remain intact.

5. Bring to a boil and cook after that for 35 - 40 minutes.

6. Then drain the water and rinse under running water. Remove cheesecloth and rice and rinse again.

When the paints are dry, they can be oiled.

The same method can be applied using smaller cereals, such as millet. But in this case, you will get not marble krashenki, but motley speckles. But the method is also good!

If you want, you can paint in this way.

Moreover, you can use for this not only the husk, but also food coloring. However, as well as when staining with rice.

Either way you can get great results.

How to paint eggs for Easter without greenery

It is not difficult to guess that the methods proposed above can also be used when staining with colored food dyes. You can cut white paper very finely and roll an egg soaked in water in it. Then place it in a capron and tie it. Then paint with dyes of different colors. Colored marble dyes will turn out.

But I want to offer one more way, which will differ from those suggested above both in the way of execution and in obtaining the result.

We will need:

  • light and dark food coloring
  • vegetable oil

Cooking:

1. Color eggs at room temperature with food coloring in light shades of colors. This should be done in accordance with the instructions on the package. Colors such as yellow, all light shades of pink, orange, pale blue and light green are ideal.

2. Rinse them with cold water and let dry.

3. Dilute dark colors with water. They should be in sharp contrast with light shades. These are purple, dark blue, dark green, burgundy and so on. One color must be diluted in each individual dish.

4. Pour 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil into each dark color. Now the fun begins. We will draw different paths, curls and circles with a toothpick in oil on liquid. In creativity, you can not be shy. The more drawing you apply here, the more clearly it will appear on the dye.

5. Now you should definitely wear rubber gloves. We take a painted light egg and in one clear movement just dip it into the selected dark paint.

Lay out on a wire rack and let dry. Then wipe with vegetable oil. You can use a cotton pad for this.

And here is another chic design, where gold food paint is applied to the main background using the method proposed above. The decor turned out great.

This is how beautifully and effectively you can arrange another colorful treat for the holiday.

Beautiful Easter eggs - the original way

There is another way in which you can achieve the desired effect. But in this case, the marble effect will appear not on the shell, but on the protein itself.

It's pretty simple. Most likely everyone is familiar with this picture: when you color eggs in any of the ways, and it cracks, a colored line remains on the protein. So you can not wait until it cracks. And apply cracks in advance. But this must be done, of course, already on the cooked product.

And since the dye will penetrate inside and color the protein, it means that it needs to be made more “tasty” than onion peel.

We will need:

  • boiled eggs
  • black tea bags
  • soy sauce
  • cinnamon
  • star anise or anise

Cooking:

1. On pre-cooked eggs, make cracks in a free manner. At the same time, try not to fall off the shell, otherwise the effect will be lost. It should stick to the inner film.

2. Place them in a pot of water at room temperature and bring to a boil.

3. In hot water, place 5 black tea bags, two tablespoons soy sauce, two cinnamon sticks and one star anise bud (or you can take another odorous seasoning). This amount is given for about 6 - 7 eggs.

4. Bring to a boil and cook for 35 minutes. Then cool in cold water, dry.

Serve already shelled.

The same effect can be achieved if the product is dyed with food or natural dyes.

As you can see from the photo, the effect is also great.

How to make marble staining without brilliant green and onion peel

This method differs from the previous ones in that a product of chemical origin is used in staining, namely nail polish.

Although I do not welcome this method at all, but since it exists, it means that it cannot be ignored. Therefore, I will describe it very briefly, which is called for information.

1. Boil white eggs and cool.

2. Pour some water into a bowl, which is not a pity, but rather into an unnecessary jar. Drip nail polish into it. You can use only one color, or you can use several different ones.

If you take several flowers, then drip them in turn into the center one on top of the other.

3. Then take a toothpick and draw stains, paths, wavy lines and circles on the water. Let your imagination run wild and don't think too much about what you can do. The more lines and shapes, the better.

4. Be sure to wear gloves for the next procedure. Take the egg by the two ends, and gently dip one of the sides into the resulting picture with varnish.

Then turn it over to the other side and repeat the procedure. Now he needs to dry off. And basically, everything. Get colorful marble stains.

And in conclusion of the article, I want to tell you where this tradition of painting eggs came from. They have been painted since ancient times and in different cultures. Because they believed that they are the foundation of the foundations, and everything came from their depths.

And in Christian culture, there is a legend that tells that at the time of the Resurrection of Christ, the stones on Golgotha mysteriously turned red. Therefore, eggs are considered a symbol of the Resurrection of the Lord. And therefore it is customary to paint them to this day on one of the main Christian holidays -.

I hope that today's selection will be useful for you this holiday.

I congratulate you on the upcoming holiday! And I wish you all the very best!

Pysanka or krashenka is the best Easter gift for friends and family. And it is time to pay maximum attention to the question of how to paint eggs. And to make the symbol of the upcoming holiday look really worthy, IA PrimaMedia has collected on the Internet some of the most interesting ways of coloring eggs, which were shared by experienced housewives.

Eggs imprinted with living plants

This method is almost no different from the traditional "grandmother's", which requires onion broth. It is very easy to prepare it. Usually, husks from eight onions are enough for two glasses of water, although you can "play" with the degree of concentration. The whole secret of this method is that some pattern remains unpainted on the egg. To do this, you only need stencils and old nylon stockings. Stencils can serve as different flowers and leaves. You can use fragments of living plants (indoor or wild), or cut out of paper. The stencil must be applied to the egg, put on top of a nylon stocking or gauze. Fasten the ends of the resulting bag with an elastic band or thread. Now just leave the boiled eggs in a saucepan with broth for several hours, then remove the capron and stencils from them.

This method of staining can not be called difficult, but it also requires some skill. For him, we need the same onion peel, gauze and dye (preferably red). We take onion peel, cut it with scissors into small plates. Next, dip the egg in water, then roll in the husk. It should stick to the egg. If it does not stick very well, we help with our hands. After that, we place the egg in cheesecloth and securely fix it together with the husk, lower it into a saucepan with tinted water. Boil the eggs for 5-7 minutes until cooked, after which we take them out, remove all unnecessary.

To achieve marble effect, you can use the dye together with sunflower oil. To do this, first paint boiled egg in a light tone and let it dry completely. Add a spoonful of vegetable oil to the container with darker paint, and gently, without shaking, mix the solution. After that, a large oil stain should break into small ones - the size of a pea. Dip the dried egg into the oil and dye solution and remove immediately.

To get eggs with a beautiful lace effect, you just need to wrap a boiled egg in lace or tulle, then dip it in a solution with paint for 10 minutes. After we remove the fabric and get a sophisticated pattern on the surface of the egg. To make the ornament more traceable, lace or tulle should fit as tightly as possible to the shell. Therefore, we use the same nylon, elastic bands or threads. Another important point- with this method of staining, you need to take only white eggs.

Sea pebbles or speckled eggs

Rice or other grains can be used to give the eggs specks. Wet eggs are rolled in cereals, carefully wrapped in gauze or nylon, the ends of which are tied with a thread. The rice should be very close to the egg. The eggs are then dyed with onion skins. The bag is removed, and the places where the rice adhered to the surface remain unpainted, creating an interesting "mottled" appearance. In addition to onion skins, you can also use regular food coloring. In this case, half fill the glass with rice, drip liquid paint directly onto the rice (15-20 drops), close the lid and shake. Put the hot boiled egg on the rice. Close the lid and shake vigorously. Ready!

Decoupage egg

To decorate an Easter egg with a picture, you can decorate it using decoupage technique. Decoupage does not take much time, does not require large investments, and the result exceeds all expectations. To do this, first boil hard-boiled eggs. We choose a beautiful paper napkin, separate the top layer and cut out the fragment you like. We attach the picture tightly to the shell, apply gelatin glue or starch paste made from corn or potato starch on top of the picture with a brush. The main thing is to smooth out all the wrinkles and securely fix the thinnest paper web on the shell. We leave to dry and a sophisticated vintage gift is ready.

colorize Easter eggs all the colors of the rainbow can be done with ordinary wax crayons. First, boil the eggs in salted water. The color of the shell can be any, as it will be hidden under a layer of opaque wax. Dry the shells and place the eggs on the lids of plastic bottles. While the eggs are hot, paint them with colored crayons. When in contact with a hot surface, the wax melts and forms bizarre, bright patterns with color transitions on the shell. You can also grate the pencils on a fine grater and sprinkle freshly boiled eggs with them. Wax grains will create an unusual cosmic pattern on them. You can also melt wax crumbs in a water bath and dip the testicles in liquid dye, or apply colored crumbs to the egg with a brush.

In order to get smart polka dot eggs, you need to use only white eggs. We also need ordinary food coloring, electrical tape and a hole punch. Some people use double-sided tape, but it may leak dye. So, boil the eggs "hard boiled" - about 15 minutes after boiling. While the eggs are cooling with a hole punch, we make circles from ordinary blue electrical tape, then glue them tightly onto the egg. All peas are well smoothed with a finger to the egg. The more carefully you glue, the smoother and neater the peas will be. Next, paint in the usual way and after the shell has dried, remove the circles. After the egg can be rubbed with sunflower oil to a shine.

Note to housewives

1. For coloring, it is better to take eggs about four or five days old, since fresh eggs cleaned worse.

2. Before cooking, the eggs should rest at room temperature for three to four hours (overnight is possible).

3. Eggs before dyeing are best washed with baby soap and wiped with alcohol.

4. If you dye eggs in boiling water, be sure to salt it.

5. After dyeing with natural dyes, eggs should be dipped in ice water to make them easier to clean.

6. Ready-made eggs can be greased with butter or confectionery mother-of-pearl to add shine.

7. For coloring, it is better to use white eggs of approximately the same size.

Marble eggs for Easter are dyed with onion peel and ordinary greenery. The eggs turn out to be beautiful, they look like real stones of the correct shape. Zelenka and onions are affordable harmless dyes with which you can achieve an excellent result. But every process has its own peculiarities. Paint with green enamelware I strongly do not recommend. You will have to say goodbye to such a pan for a long time, since the brilliant green tint is very problematic to wash. Suitable for these purposes are stainless steel dishes or an old pan, which is time to be scrapped.

  • Cooking time: 30 minutes

Ingredients for Marbled Easter Eggs

  • 1 dozen white chicken eggs;
  • 0.5 l red onion peel;
  • 0.5 l of onion peel;
  • a sheet of writing paper;
  • 1 vial of brilliant green (brilliant green);
  • 0.5 m of gauze or mesh fabric;
  • gum;
  • stainless steel saucepan or old saucepan;
  • medical gloves;
  • olive oil.

How to cook marble eggs for Easter

Red onion peel is a must. Don't expect it to turn the shell dark purple. Despite the distinct difference in onion colors, the purple husks turn dark brown, about two shades darker than yellow.

So, we take scissors and finely cut the clothes of the red onion.

Next, undress the yellow onion, and also finely chop his clothes. If you stock up on husks in advance, then for coloring a dozen eggs you will need a half-liter jar of each color, filled not very tightly.

About half a sheet of writing paper is cut into small squares and thin strips. The more varied the pieces of paper, the more interesting the result.

Mix cutting. The amount of cut paper should be 2-3 times less than the husk. If you take more, then the eggs will turn out pale, with a lot of white spots.

Wash raw testicles under the tap, rub the shell with the abrasive side of a washcloth to remove marks and dirt.

We put the wet eggs in a plate with sliced, roll in this impromptu breading completely.

We cut off the required number of squares from gauze or mesh fabric. We put an egg in the center of the gauze square, tighten the edges with an elastic band or tie it with a thread.

With your fingers, through the fabric, we distribute the sliced \u200b\u200bin the shell inside the gauze bag so that there are no large unfilled spots.

If the cut rolls in one place, soak the egg in a cloth with cold water.

We put the packed eggs in a stainless steel saucepan and fill with cold water.

Pour about half a bubble of greenery into the saucepan, the amount of which directly depends on what intensity you want to get the color. In general, the more, the greener.

We put the saucepan on the fire, bring to a boil, cook for 15 minutes over moderate heat.

Carefully drain the green boiling water, rinse the packed eggs with cold water until cool.

Then we put on gloves, remove the gauze, remove paper particles, rinse with running water.

To make the testicles shine like polished marble, grease the shell with a drop of thick olive oil.

Once you've got some pretty painted eggs, there are unfortunately some problems left in the form of a dirty sink and a green pot. You can quickly get rid of greenery with a regular paint thinner. Wipe the inside of the pot with a cloth soaked in solvent and wash with soap and water.

Marble eggs for Easter, dyed with onion peel and ordinary greenery, are ready. Happy holiday to you!
